Descended from a prestigious family of artists from the Soviet school, whose works are distributed by some of the most important museums of the former Soviet Union, Shovkunenko creations, a versatile plastic operator, are lucid combinations of ideas and symbols that the artist blends , relying on a refined technique and a full adventurous imagination of surrealist accents. His works, high impact and deep mystical connotations, stimulate and evoke, in certain cases, some of the largest illustrators contemporaries.
